Our Mission & Calling
Covering of God exists to reflect the heart of the Father toward those who are often overlooked—women, children, widows, and families walking through hardship. We believe the Church is called to be a gentle covering, not a distant institution—present, prayerful, and willing to serve together.
We are drawn by Scripture to care for those in vulnerable places—not as projects, but as people deeply loved by God. Unity in the Body of Christ means standing together across churches, backgrounds, and stories to offer safety, dignity, and hope in Jesus’ name.
Guided by James 1:27, we seek to be a quiet, steady presence—serving in practical ways, praying faithfully, and walking in compassion and holiness as we care for orphans, widows, and those in distress.
Who We Serve

Widows, orphans & families in crisis
Those carrying grief, sudden loss, or overwhelming need—who are supported by a patient, prayerful community committed to walking with them gently, one step at a time.

Believers, churches, and partners who desire to serve in unity—bringing God-given gifts together to walk alongside others with compassion, faith, and steady care.

Our work is simple and prayerful. We listen, we discern, and we respond together—meeting real needs with practical help and Christlike care.
Safe housing
We create safe, nurturing homes where women and children can breathe, heal, and rebuild—surrounded by steady care, prayerful support, and belonging in peace.
Collaborative care
We connect churches, volunteers, and local resources so care doesn’t rest on one person alone—shared in unity, coordinated with wisdom, and carried together daily.
Restoration & dignity
Through relationship, encouragement, and practical support, we walk with individuals as they rediscover their voice, their value, and their God-given purpose.
Faith in action
Everything we do flows from love, kindness, prayer and Scripture. We do not rush or pressure—moving as the Lord leads, trusting Him to guide love in action.
